About the Walwyn Table Lamp, Ian Thornton explains he was eager to explore horizontal lines given lamp bodies are usually created from vertical lines: "The equally spaced 16 discs remind me of a skyscraper being built before the walls are put in place. This contemporary design will feel at home in any modern interior." The painted antique brass finish brings the gold table lamp added warmth, as does the slightly textural fabric of the shade.
